During our program, which can last up to 90 days, we work with patients to overcome their addiction through a faith-based methodology.
WHO WE ARE…
An addiction treatment center is only as good as its team, and we believe our team is the best drug and alcohol counselor in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Our counselors bring years of experience in working with addiction, a faith-based and holistic approach, and a desire to help. Our drug and alcohol counselors are fully dedicated to helping every person who walks through our doors.
God has put together an incredible team of drug and alcohol counselors to assist in your transformation.
Our founder and CEO, Trey Lewis, served as an active duty member of the United States Air Force and attended Mercer University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety Leadership.
Trey knows firsthand how dangerous and deceitful a life controlled by drugs and alcohol can be. He was delivered from addiction in 2005 and was immediately filled with a passionate calling to tell everyone about the transforming power and love that is found only in Christ. It was in his first year of law school that Trey realized God was setting him on a path to fulfill a dream in his heart to open an inpatient residential treatment facility that will transform the lives of men who are hurting and lost to their addiction to drugs and alcohol.
A gifted communicator, Trey has traveled the country while preaching the gospel, leading outreach initiatives, and inspiring thousands of people across America through strategic leadership conferences. He and his wife, Holly, live in Atlanta, Georgia with their six children, Cannon, Beau, Arrow Rose, Pearce, Cross, and Cal.
While Trey is aware that there are many options available to those who struggle with addiction, he recognizes that many of them do not provide the necessary tools and dependency on Christ to bring about real and lasting transformation in people’s lives. His commitment and passion is ensuring that Good Landing is the best program in the nation for addicts to get clean and be restored to a life filled with purpose.

WHAT WE DO
Good Landing Recovery is located just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. We provide individual and group therapy for men and women who struggle with drugs and alcohol. Our recovery program uses Christ-centered and biblically-based treatments to break the chains of addiction, restore hope, and experience lasting transformation.
A faith-based approach to recovery is a highly effective treatment option. In fact, studies indicate that individuals participating in Christian rehab programs are better positioned to avoid relapse.
The staff at Good Landing Recovery (GLR) facilitates the recovery process through a variety of treatment methods, including:
When clients arrive at GLR, they enter an environment that facilitates spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical change. Their lives will be transformed through stimulating activities, group accountability, physical exercise, biblical counseling, and above all else, a purposeful relationship with Christ.
We do more than just work with the individuals. GLR also works diligently with the families to build healthy relationships, restore bonds, and form plans of action that will allow our clients to live out successful lives in stable, peaceful homes. Our aftercare programs and out-patient coaching provide the necessary community ties that enable our clients to develop, practice, and implement the skills necessary to maintain sober, godly lives.
At Good Landing, our addiction treatments don’t just deal with drug and alcohol issues. Our approach is designed to address and heal the entire person, encompassing the body, soul, and spirit. When someone completes our program, we guarantee that they will experience significant physical, mental, and spiritual growth. This ensures they will be armed with the necessary tools to live a successful and fulfilling life.
Patients at Good Landing aren’t attending a generic rehab center. Instead, they are immersing themselves in an environment that fosters mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth and change. With faith in Christ and the dedication to being sober, our patients are able to overcome addiction and return to living sober, purposeful lives.
To help patients reach this goal, our drug and alcohol counselors also reach out to their families. We work closely with the families of our patients to help them understand what their loved one is going through. Addiction affects many people, and we truly believe that to be effective, treatment has to be inclusive. We help families rebuild relationships, form new bonds, and create plans that will help everyone heal and move forward. The outpatient coaching and aftercare we provide helps connect the patient to their community, growing their support group while helping them develop the skills they need to become a successful member of that community.
In addition to helping patients with overcoming their addiction and reconnecting with their families, we also help them with other concerns. We approach treatment with a holistic mindset, treating the body, mind, and spirit. By helping patients grow and heal physically, mentally, and spiritually, they will be more prepared for holding off a relapse. They will have everything they need to stay sober while building a successful life.
Our team of addiction counselors sit down with each patient and help them determine why they’re using drugs or alcohol. No one abuses these substances because they want to. They do so as a way of coping with some deeper issue. Often, our patients aren’t even fully aware of what issue it is they’re coping with. Our counselors will help them process their emotions, learn how to deal with their feelings and stress in a healthy way, and help them identify triggers that could lead to relapse.
We work to address negative thoughts and behaviors so each of our patients understands why they’re doing what they do and how they need to change in order to live a healthier life. After learning why they turned to substance abuse and how to address those causes, we help them establish a long-term plan to rebuild their lives.
Here are a few of the ways our counselors go about achieving these goals:
Everything done at Good Landing circles around helping our patients. While working on dealing with addiction is important, our team also helps patients repair areas of their lives that have been affected by drugs. To that end, we help patients develop healthy exercise routines, learn about nutrition, and work with medical experts to address other physical and mental health concerns.
All of our staff members are educated in addiction treatment and hold degrees and certifications in areas such as professional counseling, social work, and related areas. They exhibit all of the traits that make a great addiction counselor:
In addition to these traits, our counselors have years of experience in treatment. They will work closely with patients to determine which form of treatment will be the most effective. This is one of the key parts of treatment. If a patient isn’t receiving the right kind of treatment, they won’t have the most effective tools for battling relapse. By listening and treating every patient with empathy, compassion, and patience, our counselors are able to prescribe the ideal mode of treatment for everyone who comes to Good Landing.
